October 2010 General Conference

Well, it is October already and General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints just got done. Wow, it was amazing. I loved all the talks and I am going to strive to change a few things in my life to become a better person and be closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As I was listening to President Monson's closing talk today I started thinking of a picture I have of him. My Grandparents went on a mission to Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada in the 1960 to help build a church there. President Monson, then Elder Monson made a visit there and this picture was taken. My Grandpa Howard is the man in the tan shirt and pants, third from the left and Elder Monson is second from the right. How grateful I am to have been able to listen to a prophets voice today and to have had the wonderful Grandfather that I had.

  1. I love this picture! Conference was good wasn't it!!?!

  2. I also love this picture!! I love hearing President Monson speak, he always knows just what to say.

  3. Sounds like you really took something good away. We can all strive each day to be better people!~:)
